About the Role – Automation QA Engineer, Cypress

We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing manual as well as automated tests to validate the functionality. You will also be responsible to identify and report bugs and maintain test scripts.

To ensure success as a QA automation engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent QA support tools skills. A skilled QA automation engineer can design and write efficient test procedures for every software application.

Job Specifics

  • Expertise in automation QA using CypressIO or a similar framework/tool.
  • Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
  • Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
  • Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
  • Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
  • Following best practices for manual and automation testing.
  • Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
  • Directly conversing with clients and stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
  • 4+ years of experience working as a QA automation engineer.
  • Advanced programming skills including automation with Cypress.
  • Selenium experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming script languages including JavaScript.
  • Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • You’re not afraid to ask questions.

  • After going through the above set of steps we’ll come to a decision.
